This farm is opening up to the public on Friday 11/27 for the 2020 Christmas Season. Here you can cut down your own Christmas Tree, or buy a pre-cut Christmas Tree. There are also hayrides, bon fires, a marshmallow roast, and a snack bar, weather permitting.

2) Mike’s Christmas Tree Farm – Manorville, NY
This Christmas Tree Farm is also open daily Mondays through Fridays starting on Friday 11/27. They have tractor rides, and provide saws to cut down your own tree. Due to limited capacity because of Covid Restrictions, they are requiring you to call ahead of time to make an appointment.

3) Fairview Tree Farm – Shelton, CT
This Christmas Tree Farm opens on Saturday 11/21. Here you can cut down your own tree or purchase a freshly pre-cut tree. Afterward, you can enjoy warm cider and popcorn while browsing through Christmas decorations and ornaments. They also have hayrides with Santa.

4) Battenfield Christmas Tree Farm – Red Hook, NY
This farm opens on Monday 11/23 for the Holiday Season. Like all the other Christmas Tree Farms, they will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. No tailgating is allowed this year like usual due to Covid. They have a wide selection of trees you can cut down. And the concession stand with food will be available as usual. They also have a Christmas Shoppe with holiday decorations and ornaments.

5) Solvang Tree Farm – Poughkeepsie, NY
This Christmas Tree Farm opens on Friday 11/27, the day after Thanksgiving. They have 5 different varieties of Christmas Trees that you can cut down on your own. Or you can purchase a fresh, pre-cut Christmas Tree. They also have a farm you can visit afterwards with rabbits, pigs, and sheep. In addition, they sell hand made wreaths, holiday decorations, and snacks.

6) Elwood Christmas Tree Farm – Hungington, NY
This 22-acre Farm opens up on Black Friday, 11/27. You must bring your own handsaw in order to cut down your own tree. They also have pre-cut Frasier Fir Trees available as well. They do not accept credit cards, so be sure to bring cash.

7) Maple Row Farm – Easton, CT
This farm’s Christmas Tree sales start on Saturday 11/21, earlier than usual this year. Here you can choose from five varieties of Firs, three varieties of Spruces, and the White Pine that you can cut down yourself. Once you chop down your own tree, a tractor will take it to the baling area for you. Afterward, you can enjoy hot chocolate or hot cider before heading home.
